Friday I went to my ultrasound appt. and they said that the tissue they were seeing is normal, so there was no need for a biopsy. The Radiologist Dr. came in to look and said the same thing. I was content and went to work.
Got my surgery all scheduled, pre-admission testing and registration all done and then my other Dr. calls me to tell me that she believes there is more to the results on the MRI than what we are seeing (suspicious area), so she bumped my surgery a week and wants an MRI-guided biopsy done this week. I understand that she just wants to make sure that what she see's in the MRI, that we are looking at it, because she sees something there.
So Wed. AM is another biopsy and surgery for the lumpectomy and biopsy of my lymph nodes is August 28th.
Invasive Ductal Carcinoma.
In the mean time, I took some "well-time" off from work. I scrapbooked all day, printed pictures and organized a ton of photos on my computer today! LOTSA FUN!
