Headed outta the Cape early...

it rained/drizzled all weekend. BLAH! Just wanted to get home yesterday. I missed my kitties. Got home about 10:30am, I puttered around for a little bit then I slept most of the day - it started partly on the couch and then I just gave in and went to bed. I woke up around 6:30pm and was back in bed by 930pm.

Today I caught up with homework, laundry, cleaning, photos, email and voicemails.

We stayed at this quaint little cottage village in Yarmouth down by the ocean called Seaside Cape Cod. I think that almost all of the cottages were occupied by guests of the wedding, it was really cool having everyone together! I totally recommend this place if you are in the area!

Also today was my last Guest DT spot for Gutter Girlz!

The journaling says:
Life was only fun if you were “Doin’ It In The Dirt” Dirt Track Racing that is! Yes, that’s right! For 2 seasons, I drove a stock car on oval dirt tracks in Eastern New Mexico back in my married days. It was a ton of fun, but the shootouts and money to fix the damages came higher than the paychecks and we had to hang up the hobby for a few years. By then I was the head scorekeeper and announcer for the race track for 3 seasons, but I always missed the dirt.

The Prompt:
Dirty Girlz
The Song:
Dirty by Christina Aguilera
The Technique/Product:
DIRT

I used the Big Huge Labs Poster Maker for this project.

I'd also like to thank Rachel and the readers of Gutter Girlz for the fun opportunity to Guest DT! This was a lot of fun!

Great layout! You drove stock cars?!?! Rock on girl!!!!! Those cottages look so blissful. Hopefully you got time to just relax while you were there. Are you going to make it to AE at all next weekend?
