I HATE when I do this to myself...

I have the "new car" itch! Paul is looking into buying a new ride, as he always has to park his Mustang GT in the winter. Now he's looking for a new truck, and I'm getting the itch to buy a new vehicle! He is a Ford guy and I am anything but. I am all about Honda's and Subaru's.

For a couple years, I've been DREAMING of buying a Subaru Impreza WRX STi. I drive an '04 Honda Civic right now and I love my car, but nothing compares to the STi. Well, except the $35,000 price tag!

But, I'm at that age where having 300HP Turbo AWD under my foot is a little much overkill, considering my car racing days are over and a car like this can kill a paycheck, raise your insurance and possibly get me in a TON of trouble! BUT, I can't help my aching heart everytime I see one on the road from the pure jealousy of THIS HOT MACHINE! Besides the fact that my best friend decided our friendship was no longer important and I no longer have a "cool car contact" in the event I need mods or changes, it's HARD to find someone you trust to work on your racin' machine!

This is where THIS BABY comes in (see below) - have LOVED them since they came out, just never had the need for a SUV/truck kind of vehicle back then. I sold my Blazer 2 years ago to move out to Massachusetts (I do miss my Blazer - but not that much!) because it would have NEVER passed Safety and Emissions, so I sold it. Granted, my Blazer was in GREAT condition, no rust, ran great, healthy motor, etc. It was an '89 and had 250,000 miles on it and was a 4 x 4. I took really good care of it!

I think this is a ROCKIN' ride! I'd definitely buy a ride like this! it's so me! Lots of room, great on emissions and gas mileage. And the price tag is SO much sweeter! $23,000 fully loaded! NOT BAD!

...ok, fantasy over. Back to my regularly scheduled life.

oh girl....you know i'm right with ya on the "wantin' a nice ride" thing. nothing makes me happier than feeling the pure power under my foot. i say go for whatevah your little heart desires. and just tell paul that amy said it's ok ;)
