School started today...

You know that feeling when you start something new and your sort of excited and giddy to embark on a new journey? Yeah, I had that feeling all day. As if I were about to step into 9th grade, I had to make sure I looked good, that I was dressed well (well = in style for the season) and I had butterflies in my stomach most of the day thinking about it!

I got to class and it's always my biggest fear, as I age...that I PRAY I'm not surrounded by a bunch of 18 year olds. Usually in paralegal studies - you have a slightly older crowd, since there is either at least an Associates or Bachelor degree pre-req to get accepted - it all depends on which program you fit into.

So, I wasn't the oldest and I wasn't the youngest. But let's just say that Legal Research and Writing will KICK MY ASS!

Don't feel bad girl, I'm teaching two classes this semester filled with all 18 year olds (all Freshmen). One polite young man had the nerve to call me 'sir' ('Monsieur'). Ugh, talking about feeling like an old fart. That's the second time in a week that an undergrad addressed me as 'sir'. LOL
